No luck

Apparently these mice are smarter than we are! Every time we check the traps they have licked off the bait but have not set it off. HELP! Any suggestions or ideas? I'm going to have to move out if we don't get rid of these rodents.

When we had our mouse we used a sticky pad. I think they are called Mouse Glue Traps. But the mouse just has to walk on it and it is stuck. The only down side is that they don't die so they may scoot around your house stuck to the trap!

Or another thought you could put mouse pellets (poison)on the peanut butter so when they lick it the eat the poison also. Just keep Grayden away from it!

I used Pepperoni once. I tied it down really good, and it worked. My dad is like the expert at catching rodents... I'll ask him.

OK, I'm trying to catch up on all my blog reading (I am woefully behind) - and just read about your mouse-capades. Yikes! I can't believe how brave you're being about the whole thing. I would have set the house ablaze by now. Best of luck. If you need refuge from the rodent-deluge, come by and hang out with us! :)

fun posts, christina!! love all the pics. don't ask me about mice.... we had baby mice when we lived in the rental house on lafayette and i felt so bad about killing them i tried to figure a way to trap and let them go so i wouldn't have to.... in the end, joe set traps and killed 'em. i felt horrible about it. i also feel bad when i kill a spider. what is wrong with me!?!

so bummed we didn't get more snow this past weekend. i was really looking foward to a sledding trip. when it does, we'll take full advantage so keep that snow gear handy!!!
