Losing my Mind?

I don't know what it is about having kids, but it sure saps the brainpower out. Here is what I mean... I came home after a day of running errands and working out and the light on the microwave was flashing "end." Sure enough it was Greyden's breakfast that I had forgotten to give to him.

The gym I go to has an automatic turnstile where I just scan my card and it lets me in. My card kept reading invalid. I tried over and over. I finally went to the front desk all huffy and frustrated. Apparently a library card doesn't get me into the gym!Even though I've become totally dumb in the last year, I still love my little man. He is becoming quite the personality. He loves to wear our shoes around the house now. He does it at other homes as well. So if we're coming over, hide your shoes and slippers. He loves hiding from me too. This is laundry day and he has the hamper on his head... He sure keeps me busy!

Poor Little Man

Last night Grey woke up at 11 with croup AGAIN! We debated and finally took him to the urgent care center and got him a shot. We got him back to bed after midnight and then he was up every 1-2 hours throughout the night. Needless to say we are both EXHAUSTED today. It makes for a good day of movies and naps. I left him out in the front room to play when I realized it had gotten a little too quiet. I thought for sure he was getting into something. I went in and found him all snuggled up on the floor. Sometimes sick kids are kind of nice. Minus all the whining, I really enjoy the calm and slower pace. Is that terrible of me?

Music & Dogs

I have been lacking the energy to blog this past week. I have been really drained from my work for Romney's campaign and then the ending of it this week. Sorry Dave, I am down on the republican party and may not be able to vote this year. In this case party might not trump person (aka McCain) We'll have to see. But this won't be a political ranting. I'll save that for another day. On a happier note, I got voted in as a delegate at our caucus. I'm anxious to learn more about the strange process. It will be fun!
I found a song by Regina Spektor on Leslie's blog and cannot get enough of it. I don't know how I never heard of her, but she has an incredible voice. Here are two of my favorite songs:

Even though having dogs is not my favorite thing and I'm terribly allergic, it is really fun to have them for Greyden. They are best of friends. I tell him to give the dogs kisses and loves and he runs over and attacks! When I need some time to myself I tell him to go play with the dogs and that keeps him busy for a few moments. He figured out how to bark and imitate dogs before learning any words .

When in Rome

I took this quiz off Leslie's blog for fun. Rome sounds perfect to me. Yummy food!

YOU BELONG IN ROME...
You're a big city soul with a small town heart

Which is why you're attracted to the romance of Rome

Strolling down picture perfect streets, cappuccino in hand

And gorgeous Italian people - could life get any better?

Here we go MITT....

Let the countdown begin... Colorado's caucus is coming up this Tuesday, February 5th at 7pm. I encourage EVERYONE to get out and vote (preferably for Romney). He will make an amazing leader of our country. Please talk to everyone you know and make sure they get out and vote. I'm making calls to strangers, so you can talk to your friends. :)

I went to a rally for him today and it was very exciting even though I couldn't hear or see him because of the crowds. I did get to see part of the press conference afterwards. It was hard to hear though over all the hecklers.
