Sickies

Isn't this so sad---and so adorable?

I spent yesterday running to my doctor then taking the kids to theirs.  Found out I have strep. Lucky me!  Poor Elise has some sort of RSV/Bronchiolitis. They couldn't test for it specifically at the doctor's office. But she has to have nebulizer treatments throughout the day for a couple weeks. It is so sad. Most of the time she screams the whole time as I try to hold it close enough to her face to get the medication.

Here's to hoping the germs leave our home quickly!

brother & sister

These two adore each other. I love it!

I can't wait for them to snuggle in bed together and do all the cute brother, sister things.

ps. Elise has total Kramer hair going on--Jared is begging me to cut it.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Am I teaching my children this expression? Please tell me if I look like this....

point 5

My baby girl is 6 months today. What a delight she is! She has the sweetest personality and she keeps us smiling constantly. Elise adores Grey and will laugh and laugh just watching him play. They are little buddies which makes things easier on me. I am constantly saying, "Grey, go play with baby!" And then I can actually get a shower or wash dishes. If I could have tons of babies like her, I would have lots and lots!

Better Late?

I am still playing catch-up from the holidays. So better posting pictures a month late than never, right? Christmas was fabulous... just crazy. Then we went to the mountains for a week the day after. I did not take one picture because we relaxed, read books, watched movies, put together puzzles and went swimming. I did not want to think about anything else!

Grey absolutely LOVED Christmas this year. It was so much fun to soak up everything with him. I tried to do something Christmas-y with him every day in December. It was really fun for me too. I have a little kid in me still.

One of Grey's favorite things was decorating the gingerbread houses. It took him about 5 minutes to actually put a piece of candy on the house instead of in his mouth.

Christmas Eve (as always) was spent with Jared's family. It is always so fabulous with all of the cousins. We did the annual nativity and Grey was a shepherd again--maybe next year he will be able to actually follow directions.

Christmas Day brought stockings, presents and our traditional homemade cinnamon rolls.

Yes they both look awful in this picture, but it was the only one I could get with them by the tree. Too much sugar and excitement to sit still!
