Friends!

I was so lucky to see some of my best friends from high school. Arianne and Julie were both in town visiting at the same time and we had a last-minute get together at Tatum's mom's house. Good memories at that house. :) I miss those girls!!! (Thanks for the picture from your blog Arianne)

And 10 years later...

I had my 10-year reunion a few weeks ago. It was really sad because there were hardly any people that came... but it was really fun to see the people that did come. It brought back a lot of memories. I was really hoping for a little bit more of the nerds coming back as movie stars kind of thing. Haha!

I tend to reflect on things and look back to see my progress. It felt good to look at the person I was then and the improvements I have made in myself since then. I should hope for some improvement after that many years!

Spoiled!

My sweet sister-in-law and two other friends threw me a wonderful shower for our baby girl. It was amazing! I felt so spoiled to have so many friends and family there. My sister flew out from Utah for less than 24 hours to come!

A New Mr. & Mrs.

My good friend from high school, Kathy, got married this week and I was so lucky to be able to throw her shower and be at her wedding with all (most of) our girlies! 

I only took a couple pictures at her shower because I was busy running around. I managed to get one at the end of the night with the girls.

I Have Proof!

This is evidence that all those hours you think you wasted on facebook are actually worthwhile. Jared found a couple of his best friends from elementary and middle school on there not too long ago. One of them had a conference in Denver so they had a little 'reunion.' It had been over 15 years since they had seen each other. I loved hearing all the funny stories plus I got a really yummy steak out of it! We even found out one of them lives in our neighborhood AND has a son around the same age. Too funny! So don't feel guilty while neglecting your children or work and getting lost in the facebook trap.

I heart LIME

I am officially obsessed with Lime. Thanks to Stephanie we had a much-needed girl's night out. Happy Birthday Steph! Lime is a delicious restaurant on Larimer St. where we ate and talked for three hours. They were ready to kick us out I'm sure...

Last Weekend

I am a little slow at keeping up the blog this week. I have been transferring my stuff from my old PC to my new MacBook. Wahoo!!! Last Friday night we had a family date at the Kohls sale and then Sweet Tomatoes for dinner. I was a little worried about Grey. He has a really hard time sitting still. But he had a blast trying all the foods and of course topping it off with a mini ice cream cone.Then on Saturday my friend (Julie) from high school came to town. We scrambled and got a little group together for dinner. It was a blast to see Kathy, Jen, Julie and Kaylee and catch up on all the crazy happenings in our lives. We sure missed the rest of the group though. Love you girls!!!

I'm still here!

I have been missing my blogging friends lately!!! Grey is at a terrible stage where I can't be at my computer without disasters looming. I think he has hit the terrible two's early. I finally have a couple moments of peace, so here are a few highlights from our last few weeks. I hope I don't bore you...

1. A family birthday party with bowling & laser tag. Happy Birthday Jason, Derek & Megan!!!

The girls + sweet baby Addie2. 5280 week!!! We picked The Fort and Rodizio's. MMMMM! I have never eaten so much meat in my entire life. I swore I wouldn't eat for a week, but looking at these pictures is making my mouth water just a little bit.

Christina & Carrie taking a very short break from our 2 1/2 hour dinner. Yes, we ate non-stop for that long!We ate about 2 whole pineapples EACH. Have you ever had grilled pineapple? Luckily we had pregnant Carrie with us so she kept calling the guy over with the freshly grilled ones.

An Evening Downtown

Greyden took his first trip downtown last night. Our friends from Phoenix came into town, so we went down to Rodizio's and ate dinner then took a walk around 16th Street. Greyden slept most of the time in his stroller.

One of my best friends from high school, Julie, came into town and we had a mini-reunion. All of us have kids now and it was so much fun having our families together and seeing how much everyone has grown up! We'll never forget the days of ponytail boy & ghetto superstar! Visiting Friends

My best friend from high school, Erica & her sister Emily came to see Greyden today. Emily just had a little boy, Cooper 6 weeks ago. They are best buds already!

Looks like Greyden is checking out Lilly (Erica's youngest). He loves the girls already. Uh-Oh!
